Off Camera Lighting: Exploring the Strobe - Part 1 - Outdoor Portraits

A few days ago, I got a good refresher on the frustrations of location lighting::

This shoot was actually part of a group shoot in my Photo Media class, and as such the entire class was present, grouped into Canon and Nikon shooters. My professor set up the first lighting scenario, but we did the 2nd.

While the exercise was great refresher on portraits and the Godox system, it presented me with nothing new, except working in an unusually tight space constraint (between sprinklers) and a lens that doesn't focus closely. That part was frustrating.

While nothing in particular was new (besides a couple of pieces of equipment) due to having taken location classes last year, I do have a couple of photographs that I very much like from it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    `

I also grabbed some fun behind-the-scenes shots!
